What you need: Simply Static Pro

When your forms submit through Simply Static's internal webhook, each submission can be stored right inside WordPress, so you never lose a message, even though your site is static.

Turn on form entry storage

Form entries rely on two settings under Simply Static > Forms:

  • Use forms must be on.
  • Store form entries must be on. This saves each submission inside WordPress and relies on the Simply Static webhook.

As long as a form connection points at the internal Simply Static webhook (the default), its submissions are saved as entries. If a connection sends submissions to an external webhook, such as FormSpree, those go to that service rather than to your entries list:

Read your submissions

Go to Simply Static > Form Entries to see everything that's come in.

Each row shows the entry ID, the form title, the date, and which form plugin it came from. From here you can:

  • Expand a row to see all the submitted fields and their values.
  • Mark an entry as read (or read/unread) to keep track of what you've handled.
  • Delete an entry you no longer need.
