Search & Filter
What you need: Simply Static Pro, plus Search & Filter Pro
Search & Filter Pro is one of the most powerful WordPress plugins for faceted search, letting you filter almost any kind of content by post type, category, tag, custom fields, and more. Simply Static's integration makes that faceted search work on your static site.
Enable the integration
Go to Simply Static > Integrations and turn on Search & Filter. Simply Static handles the rest.
Before you rely on it
A couple of things to know about this integration:
- It requires Search & Filter Pro. The free version of Search & Filter isn't sufficient.
- The faceted search makes requests from your static site back to WordPress, so it needs CORS to be configured on your server. See Fixing CORS errors with forms for setup examples on Apache, NGINX, and LiteSpeed. The same server-side configuration applies here. If you'd rather not handle server config yourself, Simply Static Studio takes care of it for you.
Push your site
With the integration enabled and CORS in place, run a Push, and your faceted search will work on the static site.
